Planning and Executing

I'm not one who does a whole lot of planning. What's the saying? I like to fly by the seat of my pants...or something of the sort.

I've gotten better about having some sort of plan in place, but plans normally change with very little notice. I was thinking about this as I was realizing that out of my soon to be 3 children, only one of them has been planned. In my younger years I had thought about how I would like to have 3 children, but there was very little planning on the when or how far apart they would be. Those things just sort of happened.

So here I am with my 3rd child due by the beginning of October and I have basically done no planning. I need a bigger car and I'm going to need a double stroller and a new car seat. Things that you have to do some research and planning on...but all I've done is procrastinate. Do other people plan these things and actually execute it all as planned? I'm not sure that my life has ever worked out that way.

Then again, maybe my problem is that I make too many plans...

You should see my lists of projects. Finalizing the playground we just built in the backyard, keeping up with the vegetable garden, planting my flower beds, converting the living room into a home theater, building a loft bed for my son, sewing curtains, scrapbooking and building bird houses.

We shall see how it all turns out, should be fun!
