Planning and Executing
I'm not one who does a whole lot of planning. What's the saying? I like to fly by the seat of my pants...or something of the sort.
I've gotten better about having some sort of plan in place, but plans normally change with very little notice. I was thinking about this as I was realizing that out of my soon to be 3 children, only one of them has been planned. In my younger years I had thought about how I would like to have 3 children, but there was very little planning on the when or how far apart they would be. Those things just sort of happened.
So here I am with my 3rd child due by the beginning of October and I have basically done no planning. I need a bigger car and I'm going to need a double stroller and a new car seat. Things that you have to do some research and planning on...but all I've done is procrastinate. Do other people plan these things and actually execute it all as planned? I'm not sure that my life has ever worked out that way.
Then again, maybe my problem is that I make too many plans...
You should see my lists of projects. Finalizing the playground we just built in the backyard, keeping up with the vegetable garden, planting my flower beds, converting the living room into a home theater, building a loft bed for my son, sewing curtains, scrapbooking and building bird houses.
We shall see how it all turns out, should be fun!

Show me the money!
So here I am, memorial day weekend and I am sifting through coupon websites. Yes, my life is just that amazing and exciting! Are you jealous?
Anyways. I've been doing the couponing and budgeting and overall money saving for a while. So where does the money go? I guess I do have money saved up, but I was definitely hoping for more. We're looking to buy a new car very soon and I had it in my head that we would easily have 15,000 sitting around waiting to be spent on a good car. I guess life happens and plans don't always turn out as planned. We can technically wait on the new car, but I really don't want to wait any longer!
How do other people do it? It seems like most people out there drive nicer cars and upgrade often, but they seem to all have massive car payments. I don't want more stress and more bills.
Then there's vacations, how the hell do people afford those? It seems like everyone manages a yearly summer vacation, but I feel like I need to budget the next 2 years in order to make a Disney vacation happen before my son gets too much older.
Maybe I should go buy some lotto tickets...because we all know that's not wasting any money!

Try again?
We all do this right?
I'm pretty sure this is the 5th blog I've attempted to start. At first I figured I needed to post anonymously so that I wouldn't risk offending anyone. Then I decided nobody would every read it. I've gone back and forth on that one for a while.
Now...I don't know that it matters. I would rather be honest with myself and everyone else. I have felt the need to keep my past and my thoughts as mysterious as possible for a long time and it doesn't do anyone any good.
Hopefully this will serve as an outlet for me and maybe a few people will learn something new or just learn a little more about me!
Let's see if I can stick with it!
